The Maker's Diet

Well, apparently it's that time again.
We have decided to start the 40 Day Maker's Diet Cleanse!
And hopefully stick really close to the final phase after the 40 Days are up.

This will definitely be a challenge for me, but I'm hopeful since I have already cut out soda(almost 3 months!) and candy(almost 2 months!). This is a feat in itself if you know me. I can hardly believe myself that I've done it. Although I must admit, I have had a tootsie roll or two, and I did put about a tablespoon of nerds on my chocolate ice cream last night. But no more! :) Especially for the next forty days.

We just had a nice breakfast of scrambled eggs, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. But, breakfast is the easy one. Thats what I usually have anyway. Lunch is going to be really tough. Turkey sandwiches on sourdough bread with raw chedder & spinach, salt and pepper chips, and sweet leaf peach tea is my FAVORITE meal ever. I eat it almost every day. But no bread or grains at all for 2 weeks. Yikes. I'm thinking supper, like breakfast, won't be too difficult either. Fingers crossed.

This girl's bout to get used to eating salads. :-/
