Golden

I had my 25th birthday last Saturday - on the 25th. So it was my golden. Woo-hoo! Right? Well it would have been. But having to put Snuggles to sleep the night before left quite a damper. But despite all of the tears, red face and puffy eyes, the day turned out pretty good. We had planned to have everyone over to eat some of my favorite foods - and it was a nice distraction. first off, i got an early birthday supper at my favorite - Hopdoddy - from my big brother spence!

then i put on my golden glam and got our house lookin all cute.

The food table. Looks pretty great I think. And we had a lot of my favorites:
spicy dr pepper pulled pork tacos : caramelitas : texas sheet cake : chocolate crispie cookies from CM : queso : dr pepper

I had my handsome date of course...


and lots of friends...

Although this is the way Lillo (goddaughter) looked at me all night. :(

And then Sunday we met (some of) my family in Brenham for lunch!

And finished it all off the best way possible.
