Happy Halloween!!

FINALLY, it was perfectly fine for me to eat all the candy corn I WANTED!!

And believe me, I did! :)

We headed to The Woodlands for the weekend.

It was a nice, relaxing time. Filled with lots of scary movies!

I think I've now seen most of the "Halloween" movies.

It was also my dad's birthday last week. 53! Gettin up there Pops.

So I made him his favorite:

German Chocolate Cake.

Not my prettiest(or healthiest!), but soo wonderful. Definitely one of my favorites also.

Sure is a task to make that cake though! Especially when

this cutie is in my kitchen:

my "nephew" Travis! He's so great and talking so much!

It was enjoyed by all,

even Marcie who is allergic to coconut(how sad!).

That missing slice was hers. I cut a slice out of each layer before I iced it.

And set aside some icing before I added the coconut.

It was almost as good. :)

We spent Halloween with my best friend Brooke and that cutie from the picture above.

We had a really great weekend. Oh. So back to all of those movies Micah

and I watched. Marcie has a very nice tv with all the HD whatever. Well, Micah and I both think HD looks weird, almost like a soap opera or something. Instead of looking better to us, haha it looks cheaper. (He is the only person that I've talked to that agrees with me on this.)

Anyways, since all of that HD movie watching, things in real life, have a begun to look "HD" to Micah. Haha, so for the last two days, every so often in mid conversation Micah will just say, "HD," and keep on talking about whatever it was we were talking about. It cracks me up every time. He's so goofy, I looooveee him.

We're really enjoying our life!!! We are so blessed. Micah's work is going great. Monday Hair Day is going well and I am LOVING my nanny job. Ruby is just precious. And I look soo forward to every day spent with her. Micah and I have gotten into a routine of cooking supper together every night and we are loving that. He is quickly becoming a grill master!

It is so wonderful to get to spend so much time together, we are so lucky. Whether grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, yard work, watching movies, just sitting & talking, Tetris warring or riding bikes, we're having an absolute blast.
