Texarkana for the weekend

We went to Texarkana last weekend!

Sadly I didn't take too many pictures while we were there. If we were at Ang's my camera was somehow at Mom and Dad Dorsey's, and visa versa. :(

But I got cute ones on the way there and back!

We road with Gary and Kaysie and the kiddos. It made for a fun trip! There was SO much traffic on the way there because of the Texas/OU game in Dallas. So we took our time and the country roads.

We found the CUTEST little coffee shop on our way there in downtown Corsicana.

The weekend was crazy with Amber and her family TRYING to get into their new house, Gary and Kaysie and the kids trying to balance their time with both families, Gary singing at church, I was supposed to go to a wedding shower, and Micah taking pictures of friends Heather and Kelly!!!! So much in one weekend, and this is the only picture I got. :(

But I did get this short little video of Ang and Patrick breakin it down! It's super short, I realized it was time to put down the camera and join in. We had a little dance party, me, Patrick, Angela, Micah and MomDorsey :)

We stayed at Ang and Mylons for the weekend. Ang has been re-doing their house and it is looking sooo cute!!! I love staying out there. So cozy and relaxed. I really enjoy being able to walk down the street to Mom and Dad Dorsey's. And being out in the country. It's such a welcomed change from the city for me. And Micah too, I think.

Though we both do love Austin. We had a great weekend. Filled with WAY too many sweets!

On our way back on Monday we found another cute little place in Corsicana. And I can't remember the name of it! But it was a super cute little diner. With lots of old Dr. Pepper stuff! Which I loved of course :)

It is the oldest regularly operated soda fountain...I think is what they said.

We didn't like it, haha the Dr. Pepper tasted flat. So we drank it from glass bottles, which is just as fun :)

And the rest of the way home everyone crashed. Haha :)

Looking forward to seeing all of my family in a coupe weeks!
