fun weekend!!

Friday afternoon I got to watch this perfectly chunky, SWEET little nugget!! His name is Max :) how cute is he??!!!! poor thing got his shots earlier that morning :(

and his big sister Sam also but she was napping most of the time. She is SO smart! and just turned 2 :) she is so cute when she says "Micah." Another day I was watching her and I was leaning against the couch with my legs crossed and she mimicked me!! It was TOO funny, look :)

Then Friday evening we watched Adi and Ava so Gary and Kaysie could go on a date! We had so much fun! We went to PTerry's burger stand to eat with the kids. Its a neat place. I love the colors of it. I'm loving being an Aunt. :)

Saturday we went grocery shopping and to eat pizza. Look at my goofy husband.

somehow my typing is all underlined now. i dont know why. then i baked a TON of cookies that were sooo delicious! they were kind of a fancier tasting cookie and teeny tiny and made from pretty decent ingredients! definitely will make them again.

last night we went to our friends Haylie and Jessie's joint birthday party. where they made a WONDERFUL announcement....they're expecting!! they got married in march so this was a suprise but they're so excited for such an amazing blessing. I am so excited to throw her a baby shower!!

Today we went to see Jessie's band play, The Tiny Tin Hearts, at the Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival. It was great. They won a competition to get to play. Its big band with lots of my favorite instruments. Jessie plays the drums.

This is Haylie, she is so sweet. I'm so glad to have become good friends :) Micah and I are excited to build a community of great friends, especially other married couples, here in austin. We are thinking and praying about joining the community group Jessie and Haylie are a part of and got to meet some of the others from the group last night at their party. Really sweet people. Won't she be cute pregnant??? I think everyone is soo pretty pregnant.

I saw 2 special things at the festival. This skirt. HA!!!! chili peppers and guitars. where can i get me one of these?? haha and a little boy on a leash. :( :( :( :( isn't that the worst thing you've ever seen?!?!!? I HATE IT!!! (sorry if anyone reading this puts their kids on leashes. but i just think it's horrible!!!)

me and my husband :) haylie got us vip passes so we got to get free food and drinks. sweet leaf peach tea is my favorite!! especially when it's free!!!

I'm so excited for church tonight! We haven't been to our church in ages it seems. Atleast a month. And after we're going to watch Mad Men with our friends, and also newly weds, Sarah and Dave. They're so great. The season premier was pretty bad so I hope it doesn't continue that way. :(

It's been a WONDERFUL weekend :) I have more and more fun with Micah every day and love that we get to spend almost all of our days together since he works from home! He is so crazy and makes me laugh soooo much. I love it love it love it :)
