Fun day enjoying the sunshine!

I had today off from work and I had the most wonderful, simple day.

Starting with breakfast with Micah's parents at Kerbey Lane. And then they headed to New Mexico! Really excited to see what God has planned for them out there.

How sweet are they? :) I have the best in-laws there are.

They also dropped off a little something on their pass through:

Mrs. Snuggles has joined our little family!

Maybe temporarily, maybe not. Only time will tell, but we're trying to get her and Louie used to each other. And I have to say after only 24 hours they are doing WAY better than I expected. Snuggles is a slightly grumpy old lady and Louie is your typical annoying puppy. But they're sortin' it out!

I made cupcakes, which is always fun, for Eh Klo Que's 4th birthday tomorrow!

We're excited to celebrate with him and the family and two other couples from our community group. Should be a really fun night.

Then I went over to the Godfrey casa and we walked to the park with the girls,

and had a great time playing on slides and sittin' in the shade, eating a few of those extra cupcakes!

Then we decided to walk to goodwill and, well, Little Miss Matilda Lenn's legs just couldn't take our pace, which caused this super cute photo to happen:

love it. and that girl. she is too dang cute.

It was so nice to have the sun on our shoulders and get a little exercise.

And I found the best treasure at goodwill! A treasure I've been (kinda) looking for the last few years. I say kinda because I'm not a very good hunter/digger.

But alas here it is!!
