a seriously overdue update

I met and fell in love with my niece Roree. She has since had to go to the hospital because she was losing weight but thankfully she is out now and doing a bit better. Thank you to all who have been praying for her!
We had Thanksgiving breakfast at dads house and then headed to Baton Rouge to be with my Aunt Val, Uncle Beau and Grandparents at the hospital.
My cousin Alex had a very horrible accident and has been in the hospital for almost two months. He is doing remarkably well and in high spirits so thank you so much to all have been praying for him as well. And the Godly community this amazingly strong family has been held up by has just been AMAZING. I am so thankful for that. Alex's friends and law school class mates have been holding prayer meetings every tuesday and thursday for him, had blood drive for him and have provided lunch and supper EVERY SINGLE DAY since they have been in the hospital. Please continue to pray!
We came home and celebrated Laurel turning 19!
With bowling :)
And then Christer Kaw turned 13 (she things 14)!!
And we celebrated with them as well. We got her a camera which she LOVES. They all do. And we thought a really neat thing for them to be able to have.
We had a community group Christmas party last weekend and the Duttons did a beautiful job hosting!
It was a blast. We ate a seriously delicious dinner (these couples can cook!) and then played two really fun games, "Celebrity" and "Telictionary." If you have never played them I seriously recommend it! I laughed and laughed and laughed.
The Wives of the group: Sarah, Courtney, Bekah, me, and Kim.
All such amazing, sweet, Godly women who I have learned so much from.
Sharing a meal together.
I love this picture because I think it describes our relationship perfectly! :)
My love and respect for this wonderful, crazy man grows every day. He is one of a kind and I am so thankful he is mine.
