Our awesome friends Heather and Kelly are having a baby girl named Lucy in a few weeks!
Can't wait to meet her. So excited for the Carr's. Heather's baby shower was this past weekend and I made her a pillow and a quilt. Heather also designed my Pennington's Quilts logo and care card and I can't wait to show you them! Hoping to get them printed soon!
I'm pretty sure she loved it. :) Which of course makes me super happy.
I can take no credit for the design of the quilt, I used a pattern from my (amazing) Fresh Quilting
book I got as a Christmas gift from my wonderful sister in law Angela.
This is an amazing book if you love to sew/quilt.
I entirely hand sewed her little owl pillow. Embroidery, piping and everything.
The embroidery part I love, but im definitely going to invest in a piping foot for my machine as soon as I can.

I will have another quilt almost exactly the same as this one up in my Etsy Shop in the next couple weeks. The second one has a blue/white tiny polka dot backing and yellow and white striped bias tape. Super cute! Come check it out!
