Fun Filled Weekend

We had a really fun, full weekend. The weather was PERFECT on friday, and we got out for a long walk with louie. I wish I had brought my camera because Louie cracks me up: when we go for longer walks, he just decides he's done, and lays down in the middle of the street. Like, "ill be here, pick me up on your way back!" Haha! Love him. :) Speaking of dogs, we've decided to adopt Snuggles, Micah's family dog, into our little family and apartment! Going to be crazy, fitting the 4 of us in here, but we'll make it work. Micah's parents are moving to New Mexico and can't bring her with them. There's a chance she can go later, but they're not sure. And we just couldn't let her get passed along to someone else. So come Tuesday, we will be Dorsey, family of 4.

On Saturday (again no pictures :( ) we went to a wonderful relaxing bbq all day to celebrate our friend Bekah's birthday. They live by the lake and it was so nice hanging by the water; & we got to bring louie! Nice not to have to lock him up for once.

Saturday night we went to a "Dirty Dancing" party at The Highball and that was SOOO fun. I'll be honest, it started out a little rough. Dancing is one sure-fire way to get Micah and I into an argument. HA! I'm quite the bossy little know-it-all on the dance floor (I used to go dancing every week. country and swing, i'm not bad :) and well Micah doesn't like to be told what to do or how to do it(I still love him a lot). Haha :) But we got over it and had a blast dancing to a live band playing the sound track and lots of other great songs to do the 'twist' to! And most of our community group came so of course that made it even more fun. I have to say, I really wish we went dancing more. I want Micah and I to be 'that' old couple that moves as one person on the dance floor, that you can tell has been dancing together for decades. I'm still workin on him!

Sunday was lazy lazy lazy. I wasn't feeling well but I got a good bit done on a quilt and lots of cuddling with Louie. Micah went and played basketball for 2 hours with some friends.

All that to be said, we are exhausted. That's probably the most we've done in one weekend in a long time.

Ha.
